The Cheddar Challenge highlights a new beautiful community park where kids have the chance to have fun in an engaging environment, while encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for all.

The Cheddar Cheese Festival 8/3/2024

We are proud to be apart of the Cheddar Cheese Festival, Adams, NY.

Come join us for the ride and enjoy the festivities after.

At the festival there is something for everyone. Shop over 24 Local Artisans, Enjoy the Wine Garden, Eat at Local Food Vendors, Enjoy the Live Music and Kid Zone, and much more!

The Kids Zone is hosted by South Jeff Lions and includes Games, Free Ice Cream, Ring Ranch Petting Zoo, Bear Creek Ranch Pony Rides, Magician/Balloon Man, Adventures in Climbing and more!

Course options

We have 3 options:

Xtra Sharp Cheddar, 52 miles - Ride surfaces include tarmac, smooth dirt, rough dirt, double track and single track. Gravel or Mountain Bike recommended, a hybrid is a viable alternative.
Sharp Cheddar, 29 miles - Ride surfaces include tarmac, smooth dirt, rought dirt and chip & seal. A gravel bike or hybrid is recommended, a mountain bike is a viable alternative.
Mild Cheddar, .9 of a mile, Family Fun Ride, Run, Walk - Paved village streets-you may ride, run or walk

This is a timed event with prizes for 1st - 3rd finishers for the

52-mile and 29-mile categories.

In the Family Ride, Run, Walk category- those 12 & under will receive a commemorative number plate and a finishers medal.

Registration will be available starting at 7am Saturday.

AS OF JULY 31, 2024 REGISTRATION PRICES INCREASED TO: $57.00 for 29 & 52 mile courses AND $3.00 for .9 mile Family Course.

Online Registration Closes Aug 1st, at midnight.

Race Day Registration opens at 7:00 AM

Xtra Sharp Cheddar begins: 8:30 AM
